United Interfaith Food Pantry
Since 2004, the United Interfaith Food Bank has been helping to alleviate hunger in the North Bronx. The UIFB is a cooperative of five houses of worship in southern Westchester serving three organizations that offer important services to children, families, and seniors in their neighborhoods. Christ Church donates 105 cans of fruit each month, along with other non-perishable foods. Furthermore, our community helps to prepare, deliver and serve meals to those in need. On the first Tuesday of every month, volunteers can pack grocery bags of donated food or help transport the grocery bags to the receiving organization in the Bronx.
